Digitalverein is one of three music projects by Joerg Schuster. Originally intended to be a pure Web project but this changed when Source Records published the album “Offene Schleifen” which included works he composed as Digitalverein but released as under his Sensual Physics alias. It received critical acclaim by the worldwide press.
While Digitalverein tracks are deep dub fragment constructions, his focuses as Sensual Physics are more on Detroit inspired, mellow minimal music. The soundscapes under his Lufth alias work with organic, ambient sounds. A common thread in all projects is his advanced state of rhythm programming, often using a very original ¾ stepped beat. All of his Thinner releases / remixes are defined as essential downloads by De:Bug – Germanys most important zine for electronic culture.
