Phiorio (Metroline, My Mate Music - UK)
Italian born Phiorio (Gianpiero Fiorin) moved to London circa 1998 where close contact with parties inspired him to start spinning techno. The thriving Free Party scene provided the perfect playing field to put these newly honed skills into practice and a collaboration with KSS Sound System KSS saw Phiorio playing at underground events both in the UK and abroad alongside artists such as Heartthrob, Alex Smoke etc
His DJ sets have since developed from tough techno to more minimal and hypnotic sounds. He is currently co-running Metroline Recordings – a netlabel where he releases as a solo artist and together with Andrea Kalenda as Forse.
