Sr.Aye & Decolora (Miga, LTW - ES)
Sr.Aye is a night creature, with an extremely high auditive capacity and nocturnal vision. For 10 years, he has been collecting and storing noises from the surrounding urban environment, waiting to use them during sound-shortage times. Experimental hip hop is the base of his sound, but very often he moves to other environments such as downtempo or minimal. During 2004 he formed together with other artists, the collective/netlabel Miga, a platform for the promotion and free diffusion of audiovisual works. Sr.Aye works to offer a different live set at every gig, following the changing rhythms marked by the seasons.
Decolora is an audiovisual team formed in 2002, their shows are based on live images with certain messages over top, transforming the reality of the moment into a new narrative. Social reality is reflected and performed to focus the audience’s vision onto previously unexplored visual ways, mixing the image generated by live cams with a huge selection of their own resources. Decolora have performed at festivals (Málaga Arte y Tecnología), in clubs (Loft – Barcelona), catwalks, art galleries as well as at a circus and theatre production company.
